About four years ago the concept of forming a foundation in Ashville occurred. Site visits of other foundations were made. A review was done of the Harrison Township Land Use Plan. Meetings began to investigate the feasibility and how a foundation could be formed. That was followed by a group of individuals meeting monthly to generate draft By-laws and other documents.
